5G Launch: The Impact of Electronic Magnetic Radiations and Compatibility

With launching of fully functional fifth-generation (5G) networks and smartphone manufacturers following suit with 5G-capable devices. While it will be years 5G becomes the global industry standard, it is critical to understand what this new era of technology entails and potential issues that may arise. Disadvantage of these waves is that they do not pass through structures as well as earlier lower frequency waves did. To combat this, telecommunications companies are building a denser network of smaller cells, resulting in a greater number of cells. This paper discusses how electromagnetic interference (EMI) can cause problems with electronic devices, equipment, and consumer electronics. In order to guarantee that an electronic device won't be harmed by outside electromagnetic waves, design and manufacturing processes must adhere to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards, which are covered in this paper as well. Beyond that, it can't harm people's health or interfere with other devices.
