Maximizing Cost and Energy Efficiency in a Hybrid Wind-Solar Energy System

The present work proposes designing and implementing a cost-effective hybrid wind-solar energy system to maximize energy efficiency using optimal renewable energy resources such as wind and solar energy. The advantages of this approach are evident; it can provide constant solar and wind energy, which will be cost-effective. The system features sophisticated control algorithms to schedule optimally and bus wind and solar generations subject to time-varying weather patterns and demands. And both energy sources can be utilized efficiently for less waste and more yield. The system has plenty of storage capabilities to stock produced energy during peak times and store it for low-demand periods later. This net impact is to flatten the supply and demand curve for energy, resulting in fewer non-renewable plant starts. By integrating renewable and storage technologies, this system aims to reduce energy production's overall cost and carbon footprint. By maximizing wind and solar energy efficiency, this system offers a sustainable and cost-effective solution for meeting our energy needs.
