A SISL Triple-Band Antenna With E-Strip for Multiband Applications

This work simulates a triple-band antenna for satellite communication, WiMax/WLA, and 5G mobile applications using substrates integrated suspended lines technology (SISL). The suggested SISL features five layers with incorporated air holes. The proposed antenna contain every element which has driven itself as self packaged . By crafting a circular patch etched with a U slot in the G5 layer and a rectangular slot in the G9 layer, we achieved dual bands at 2.36 GHz and 6.4 GHz, each with a bandwidth from 2.33 GHz to 2.4 GHz and 6.36 GHz to 6.82 GHz, accompanied by gains of 1 dBi and 10 dBi, respectively. The antenna design got better frequency performance when an Estrip was added to layer G2. This caused a triple-band resonance to appear at 3.51 GHz, with a bandwidth of 3.46 GHz to 3.56 GHz and a gain of 5.26 dBi. Vias establish connectivity between the feedline and circular patch, enhancing signal transfer and linking with the E-strip. Side lobe levels less than - 12.5 dB for enhanced antenna performance.
