Exploring the Transition from 5G to 6G: Advancements in Ultra-Low Latency, High-Speed Connectivity, and AI-Driven Network Optimization

This paper focuses on the evolution from 5G to 6G regarding progress in ultra-low latency, highly accessible networks., and AI-assisted adaptive networking. The paper also explains how 6G will transform wireless communication by reducing latency to near zero while attaining terabit per second data transfer rates. AI will enhance its effectiveness in network management by improving a self-organizing and adaptive system that will transform the efficiency and reliability of the networks. The argumentation of the research also touches upon such specific themes as spectrum management and usage of the terahertz band, possible issues include signal attenuation. The second area is energy efficiency enhancements, which should be primarily oriented toward sustainability, to support 6G innovation. The presented approach adopts AI models for the enhancement of network design and conducts simulations for performance comparison between 6G and 5G. The achieved outcomes show significant increases in latency, throughput, and energy efficiency which indicates 6G as a breakthrough solution for businesses that rely on real-time high-speed data services. Based on this knowledge, the study determines that 6G will be an instrumental in the future digital environment as it will unlock the potential of new innovative technologies like automotive systems, IoT, VR, and AR.
