The Validation and Reliability Study of the Self-Regulated Learning Scale in Digital-Based Environment

Purpose: This study is to validate and verify the Self-regulated Learning Scale in Digital-Based Learning Environment by Lee & Jeon(2024) for Korean elementary school students. Method: The final data was collected from 597 elementary school students in Busan and Gyengnam province using an online questionnaire. Results: First, it was confirmed that the Self-regulated Learning Scale in Digital-Based Learning Environment consisted of 5 factors. Second, through confirmatory factor analysis, the model fit index of the Self-regulated Learning Scale in Digital-Based Learning Environment was shown to be at an appropriate level, therefore it was possible to check the construct validity of scale. Third, the correlation analysis with the scale by Barnard et al(2009) revealed a significant positive correlation with the scale derived in this study. This result suggests that the scale developed in this study possesses convergent validity. Conclusion: The present study demonstrated that the Self-regulated Learning Scale in Digital-Based Learning Environment for upper elementary school students.
