Revisiting compact spacelike hypersurfaces in a spatially closed GRW spacetime via constraints on a suitable intrinsic function

In this paper, we present new uniqueness and nonexistence results concerning compact spacelike hypersurfaces [Formula: see text] immersed in spatially closed generalized Robertson–Walker (GRW) spacetimes [Formula: see text] by assuming some suitable constraints on the [Formula: see text]th intrinsic function [Formula: see text], with [Formula: see text], which is defined from the angle function [Formula: see text] and the higher order mean curvatures [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] of a such [Formula: see text].

Abstract

In this paper, we present new uniqueness and nonexistence results concerning compact spacelike hypersurfaces [Formula: see text] immersed in spatially closed generalized Robertson–Walker (GRW) spacetimes [Formula: see text] by assuming some suitable constraints on the [Formula: see text]th intrinsic function [Formula: see text], with [Formula: see text], which is defined from the angle function [Formula: see text] and the higher order mean curvatures [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] of a such [Formula: see text].
