Pd–CeO2/C nanocomposite derived from MIL-101(Al) for enhanced glycerol electrooxidation

A multicomponent Pd-CeO2/C nanocomposite with a porous structure was prepared using MIL-101(Al) as the precursor. Due to the structural and compositional synergetic effects, the as-prepared catalyst achieves enhanced electrooxidation kinetics as well as an attractive performance for glycerol electrooxidation, demonstrating great potential for practical applications.

Abstract

A multicomponent Pd-CeO2/C nanocomposite with a porous structure was prepared using MIL-101(Al) as the precursor. Due to the structural and compositional synergetic effects, the as-prepared catalyst achieves enhanced electrooxidation kinetics as well as an attractive performance for glycerol electrooxidation, demonstrating great potential for practical applications.
