The formation of the theory and practice of social work in Kyrgyzstan

The article examines the impact of social crises on the formation and institutionalization of social work in Kyrgyzstan. The key stages of social work development are analyzed, starting from the period of the collapse of the USSR and ending with modern challenges, such as economic difficulties, migration processes and interethnic conflicts. Particular attention is paid to the role of state educational institutions in the formation of the social support system. The article is based on the analysis of legislative acts devoted to social work in Kyrgyzstan.
