Study of alternating current transmission line interference on long-distance pipelines

Abstract With the rapid development of the economy and long-distance pipelines, the problem of parallel and cross-laying of pipelines, transmission lines, and railways has become increasingly prominent. Alternating Current (AC) transmission line normal transmission in the surrounding electromagnetic field, after inductive coupling on the pipeline surface, produces an induced electromotive force, creating a safety hazard for the pipeline. When AC interference exists in the soil for a long time, the corrosion of the pipeline is accelerated, and the corrosion at this time can be regarded as an electrolytic cell model. The article deduces the earth return impedance of AC transmission lines and pipelines in uniform soil and layered complex soil, establishes the model of transmission line and long-distance pipelines, and researches the transformation law of the induced voltage interference on the pipeline by changing the height of transmission line and the parallel distance between the transmission line and pipeline in the model.
