Optimization of Nanocoating from Biomass Waste for Energy Efficiency using Taguchi Method
Global energy consumption is gradually increasing due to human activities. Developing energy-efficient materials is essential for reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. Biomass waste is an alternative renewable resource that can create sustainable materials and help conserve energy. Using biomass-derived nano resin base as an additive mixed with normal base paint in coating materials will enhance energy efficiency. In this study, the percentage composition of nano and nano carbon paint mixtures was evaluated by plotting a graph of signal-to-noise ratios using the Taguchi method. The Taguchi method, a robust statistical design of experiments, was employed to investigate the influence of various process parameters on nanocoating performance. This study aimed to evaluate the optimization performance of nanocoating materials derived from biomass waste in reducing surface temperature using the Taguchi method.
