Design and Simulation of Electric Jet Pre-Cooling Control System Based on Systems Engineering
The jet pre-cooling system, under specific operating conditions, enhances the thrust of aircraft engines by injecting water into the engine's inlet. This study employs a systems engineering method to conduct a forward design of the electric jet pre-cooling control system. The design integrates an electric centrifugal pump with a pressure divider valve to achieve high-precision water flow measurement. Additionally, the implementation of a dual-redundancy control strategy for the electric motor significantly enhances the reliability of the jet pre-cooling control system. Simulation results validate the system's performance, with a water flow response time of merely 75 ms, an overshoot of 0.75%, and a swing range of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\pm \mathbf{0.01}\%$</tex>, fully meeting the requirements for engineering applications.
