Experimental Study of Partial Discharge in Dry-Type Hollow Reactor Based on UHF-Fibre Grating Combined Detection
Dry hollow reactors play an indispensable role in the safe and stable operation of power systems. However, its encapsulation material (epoxy resin) in the long-term use of the process of moisture and heat aging, reactor production process of wire burrs and other defects are likely to trigger the partial discharge of the reactor, which evolves into a turn-to-turn insulation failure, endangering the safe operation of the reactor. Nowadays, the detection means of reactor in the pre-turn short-circuit sensitivity is poor, and most of them can not do to identify the type of fault. Therefore, this paper proposes a combined acoustic-electrical detection method combining ultra-high frequency sensors and fibre grating sensors, which is experimentally verified in the laboratory by the encapsulation model. In the reactor turn-to-turn short-circuit fault pre-fault identification by partial discharge detection fault, for the safe operation of the reactor to provide an effective means of online detection.
