Establishing a Sustainable Cybersecurity Ecosystem in Indonesia: A Global Comparison of Policies and Initiatives
The cyber-attack on Indonesia’s national data center (PDN) has prompted the government to reassess its cybersecurity strategy. This study aims to develop a requirements model for a resilient cybersecurity ecosystem in Indonesia by comparing cybersecurity practices in Europe, America, and Africa. A robust cybersecurity ecosystem includes a comprehensive framework of architecture, regulations, and activities to protect against cyber threats. Employing a doctrinal legal research methodology, the study analyzes primary and secondary legal texts and uses online sources to address key issues. The goal is to integrate effective regulatory frameworks, foster international cooperation, and invest in future research to build a durable cybersecurity ecosystem in Indonesia.
