Research on UV Imaging Detection of Corona Discharge on Power Fittings
Corona discharge is the most common discharge phenomenon in power transmission and transformation equipment, which indicates that there may be electrical defects in high voltage equipment. Through the ultraviolet imager, the 500 kV substation under different meteorological conditions was measured, and the metal parts with the most serious corona discharge phenomenon were found. At the same time, the above discharge phenomena are classified according to different discharge parts and the causes of discharge are analyzed. Finally, a comprehensive analysis method of discharge evaluation based on the discharge position, strength, shape and mechanism of the equipment and meteorological conditions is proposed.
