2.5-Dimensional Animation as an Interactive Educational Strategy in Bullying Learning for Junior High School Students

This The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) notes that Indonesia has a higher percentage of child bullying compared to other Asian countries such as Vietnam, Nepal, and Cambodia. Even according to the Program for International Student Assessment study, out of 78 countries Indonesia is among the top five countries with the highest cases of bullying in the world. As a result, bullying has become one of the concerns in character building at school. This research aims to develop 2.5-Dimensional animation as an interactive educational strategy in bullying learning for junior high school students. The result of this research is an analysis of the improvement of student learning and motivation towards animation to learn the material of verbal, physical, social, and cyberbullying including the impact of bullying actions on victims, bullies, and witnesses using the animation method. Based on the results of beta testing of 62 students of S.M.P.N. 11 aged 13-16 years, through a questionnaire on the 2.5D animation video about Bullying shows that teachers, students, and experts strongly agree that this animation can be used as an interactive learning media.
