Research on High Efficiency Linear Power Supply with Fixed Collector Emitter Voltage Suitable for Magnetically Controlled Resonant Transformers

Aiming to address the problem that the most frequently used input power supplies cannot meet the requirements of high-voltage test, a high efficiency linear power supply with fixed collector emitter voltage is proposed in this article. Firstly, the basic topology, working principle, and control strategy of the power supply are introduced, and the theoretical working efficiency of the device is derived. Secondly, the MATLAB simulation model is built to preliminarily analyze the characteristics of the power supply under steady-state and dynamic conditions. Finally, a simulation platform for the magnetically controlled resonant high-voltage test system based on the novel linear power supply is built according to theoretical deduction. The simulation results indicate that not only does the aberration rate of the output voltage of the power supply is low, but the actual working efficiency of the designed device is also higher than that of conventional power supplies, which can meet the requirements of the magnetically controlled resonant high-voltage test system.
