Miniaturization of Circularly Polarized Crossed Dipole Antenna with High Input Impedance Using Artificial Magnetic Conductor for Sub 6ghz Applications
Design focused on crossed dipole antenna with metallic reflector placed around 0.25 from the radiator. Frequency range of the metallic reflector maintains a phase of +90 to -90. AMC (Artificial magnetic conductor) simulation can be done using unit cell analysis there are 3 layers i.e., Square patch on the top, Substrate in the middle, metal plate in the bottom. Rogers material 5880 with dielectric constant (r)=2.2, per-meability(µr)=1,loss tangent=0.0009,thickness=3.15mm,operating frequency may be in the range of 4.5 to 6.This antenna is used for gain enhancement.
