E²DH: Enhanced Easy Design Handoff

In many companies, confidentiality policies restrict access to third-party cloud applications, making design handoff a cumbersome process. Designers must share static images using alternative tools, such as email or messenger applications, which lacks automation and is error-prone. This manual process creates obstacles for teams, leading to delayed product releases and decreased efficiency. To address these challenges, this work proposes the Enhanced Easy Design Handoff plugin for Adobe XD. The plugin enables seamless design handoff without relying on third-party clouds. The plugin provides features such as an assets list, comments, and font family. This facilitates efficient collaboration between designers and developers, improving communication and comprehension among teams. The proposed solution was tested with company employees, demonstrating its effectiveness in simplifying the design handoff process. While some limitations were identified, the plugin showed improvements in the design handoff process.
