Electromagnetic Design and Simulation Analysis of 3.5MW Doubly-Fed Machine
Based on the rated parameters and performance standards of the 3.5 MW doubly-fed machine, the electromagnetic design of the machine is carried out. The design of the stator and rotor inner and outer diameter dimensions, the number of pole pairs, the winding structure, and the number of slot slots of the 3.5MW doubly-fed machine are determined through the study of the machine design principles, formulas, and design experience. Subsequently, the ANSYS/RMxprt calculation module is used to input the design parameters into it, and the data of the machine's efficiency as well as the magnetic density of the stator and rotor teeth and yoke are calibrated to ensure the accuracy of the design. In order to deeply analyse the performance of the doubly-fed machine, the Maxwell 2D module is further used to carry out finite element analysis of the machine's operating state under no-load and load conditions. The reasonableness of the electromagnetic design scheme is proved from the distribution of magnetic lines of force, magnetic density cloud diagrams and various types of waveform diagrams.
