Two-Stage Clearing Model of Electricity-Carbon Coupling Day Market Considering User Demand
As an important source of carbon emissions, the power industry, coupled with the electricity spot market and carbon trading market, has become an important means of promoting low-carbon transformation. At the same time, the participation of the user side in the form of quoted quantity and price can promote fair competition, more truly reflect the market supply and demand and improve the efficiency of resource allocation. Based on this background, a two-stage clearing model of electricity-carbon coupling day market is established by categorizing users to take into account their demand for electricity and reduce system costs and carbon emissions. In the first stage, a clearing model is developed to maximize the social welfare by the users' quoted quantity. In the second stage, a clearing model is developed to minimize the system cost of power generation and carbon trading cost by users only offering quantity. Simulation and analysis on the improved PJM5 node system verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method.
