Application Research of Micromagnetic Prediction Intelligent Model for Residual Elongation

Based on the principle of micromagnetic detection, an intelligent model for quantitative characterization of residual elongation of interstitial free (IF) steel was established. Firstly, specimens with different residual elongation were prepared by tensile test mechanism. Then, the magnetic signal of the tested part is tested by using the micromagnetic sensor. Then, a neural network model is established based on the data detected by the sensor to realize the quantitative characterization of residual elongation. The results show that the micromagnetic testing method can predict the residual elongation of IF steel quantitatively and nondestructively, and the maximum relative error of residual elongation obtained by the model is less than 30%. This method is universal in different testing systems. The proposed research methods and conclusions can provide reference for micromagnetic nondestructive testing of residual elongation of ferromagnetic materials.
