Transforming Patient Satisfaction: Integrating Enterprise Architecture in Healthcare Delivery

Patient satisfaction is a crucial indicator of healthcare quality, and it is often a challenge to improve the overall patient experience. Enterprise Architecture (EA) offers excellent potential for aligning strategies, processes, and information technology in healthcare facilities, but many organizations still need to implement EA in practice. This study aims to explore the potential benefits of EA integration in healthcare to improve patient satisfaction. This research method involves exploratory case study analysis, review of related literature, and data collection from healthcare facilities that have not implemented EA but indicate a need for EA integration. The results of the study identify the key challenges healthcare facilities face in achieving patient satisfaction and outline how EA can address these challenges by improving operational efficiency, medical team coordination, and service quality. The study also provides recommendations on how healthcare organizations can plan and prepare for EA implementation. This study concludes that although EA has yet to be implemented practically, EA integration has significant potential to improve patient satisfaction and requires careful preparatory steps for its implementation.
