Study on the Impact of Primary Energy Price Fluctuation on Electricity Price
Energy is an important means of production for industrial production and the foundation of economic and social development. This paper studies the price change relationship between energy sources, focusing on the impact of price fluctuations of oil, natural gas and coal on electricity prices. Using the VAR model, the data from 2001 to June 2024 in California, USA, is used to explore the transmission mechanism of primary energy fluctuations on electricity price changes, providing a reference for subsequent research and related policy decisions.
