User Experience Analysis of the Integrated Talent Management System Application to Enhance Employee Career Aspirations Using the UEQ Method

PT. XYZ has designed a talent management system to make it easier for employees to increase employee career aspirations in meeting career paths within a certain period. The issue with this system is that employees face difficulties projecting their career aspirations and desired positions over the next five years, necessitating features that simplify the use of the ITMS (Integrated Talent Management System) application. With this simplified feature, aspirations initially accommodated manually can be accommodated digitally, making it easier for employees to carry out their career aspirations more easily and efficiently. The method used to enhance the user experience in ITMS involves the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), applying an approach through collected values to obtain scores on aspects such as attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation, and novelty. The analysis covers important aspects of the talent management system, including identifying employee needs in career aspirations, facilitating employee development to achieve desired positions, and enhancing employee satisfaction with the ITMS application. The study sample consisted of 62 respondents. The research results showed above-average evaluation scores for Attractiveness (mean 1.40), Dependability (mean 1.22), and Efficiency (mean 1.15). However, the aspects of Perspicuity (mean 1.14), Stimulation (mean 0.95), and Novelty (mean 0.46) showed below-average results. This study proposes new features, including email reminders for IDP participation, bulk data import for easier career management, and a dark mode option for user preference in the ITMS application. Usability testing was conducted to evaluate these features, with acceptable results that improved the user experience.

Abstract
