Blockchain Implementation in Healthcare: A Systematic Literature Analysis Using PRISMA Method
Blockchain technology is exciting owing to its promise for security, transparency, and operational efficiency, which has sparked the interest of many sectors. The introduction of blockchain technology in the healthcare framework has the potential to dramatically benefit the healthcare sector, with implications for clinical operations, system integration, and patient data management. This study does a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines to evaluate blockchain’s potential adoption in healthcare applications and industries. The study looks at the benefits, obstacles, adoption tactics, and ethical and legal implications of integrating blockchain technology in healthcare, drawing on findings from related studies.
