Design Approach in Educational Game Applications: Enhancing User Satisfaction

This research aims to explore and develop a design approach in educational game applications, focusing on improving aesthetic aspects to increase user satisfaction. Aesthetics, including visualization, layout, color selection, and design consistency, are critical factors in engaging users and encouraging their involvement in learning. The methodology used involves the development of an educational game prototype that integrates aesthetic principles, followed by user satisfaction testing through surveys and open-ended questionnaires. The results showed that the icon aspect and the overall layout received excellent ratings from users, with scores of 90% each, while fonts and languages scored 87.3% and displays scored 86.6%, which was also rated very good. These findings confirm that designs prioritizing visual consistency and language accessibility can significantly improve user satisfaction.
