THE VOICE OF THE ARAB WRITER: THE IMPACT OF THE NOVEL IN SHAPING SOCIAL AND CULTURAL AWARENESS

This research explores the development of the Arabic language throughout the ages and the challenges it currently faces, as well as its role in preserving the cultural identity and civilizational heritage of the Arab nation. Data from primary and secondary sources were analyzed within the theoretical framework of the study. The findings reveal significant challenges facing the Arabic language in the modern era and emphasize the importance of maintaining its integrity and evolving it to keep pace with the demands of the times. The study recommends adopting national strategies to enhance the status of the Arabic language, encourage its use in various fields, develop modern educational curricula, and intensify research efforts to study its contemporary challenges and find innovative solutions for its advancement.
