Their choice and the ability to use them ensure adequate meaning reproduction, which should be accessible to representatives of other linguistic cultures. The results of the study demonstrate that the translation solutions implemented in the animated film «Mavka. The Forest Song» effectively fulfill the task of localization, adapting the text to the cultural and linguistic peculiarities of the Ukrainian audience. The translators have successfully integrated Ukrainian realities, mainly through idioms, phrases, and stylistic devices that emphasize the local flavor and make the text close to the spoken Ukrainian language. Ukrainian phraseology helped preserve the original’s meaning and achieve a similar emotional effect while ensuring an organic perception of the text.
