The Challenges Faced by Network Ideological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities from the Perspective of “Circle Stratification”

网络圈层作为网络社群的一种新形态，圈层化已经成为当前高校网络思想政治教育面临的新挑战。网络圈层在满足大学生个体自由发展需求的同时，在一定程度上也增加了教育主体话语权威削弱、大学生思想动态难以把握和算法技术下“信息茧房”效应的风险。为此，要打破圈层困境，思想政治教育工作者必须深刻把握“圈层化”下的基本表征和其二重性影响，从转变方式、融入圈层、强化监管等多措并举，充分利用互联网优势，提升新时代高校网络思想政治的育人时效。As a new form of network community, the network circle layer has become a new challenge for the current network ideological and political education in colleges and universities. While satisfying the needs of college students’ individual free development, the network circle layer also increases the risk of weakening the authority of the education subject’s discourse, the difficulty of grasping the ideological dynamics of college students, and the “information cocoon” effect under algorithm technology. To this end, in order to break the circle dilemma, ideological and political educators must profoundly grasp the basic characterization and its dual influence under the “circle stratification”, and take multiple measures such as changing methods, integrating into the circle, and strengthening supervision, so as to make full use of the advantages of the Internet and enhance the educational timeliness of network ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the new era.
