Abstract

In this project, we developed a web-based platform for vehicle rental services, emphasizing the enhancement of user experience and operational efficiency. The automobile rental industry, despite its rapid growth, faces several challenges such as cumbersome booking processes, limited real-time availability, and fragmented customer engagement.Traditional methods, often manual and time-consuming, fail to meet the dynamic demands of modern consumers. The proposed web-based platform aims to address these issues by leveraging modern web technologies, with a particular focus on optimizing usability, performance, and customer satisfaction. The study thoroughly examines the design, implementation, and evaluation of the vehicle rental website. The design phase prioritizes user-centric principles, ensuring an intuitive and visually appealing interface that facilitates easy navigation.During implementation, Django-a high-level Python web framework-forms the backbone of the platform, providing a robust and scalable architecture. This allows for real-time vehicle availability, seamless booking processes, and efficient customer feedback mechanisms. The integration of RESTful APIs ensures interoperability with external systems, further enhancing the platform's functionality.
