STATISTICAL PARAMETERS OF THE SPECTRA OF MILK CONTAMINATED WITH AMOXICILLIN
In modern animal husbandry, the use of antimicrobials is a daily veterinary practice. At the same time, residual amounts of antibiotics used to treat animals or accelerate their growth may contain both raw materials and finished products. The widespread use of antibiotics in the diet of farm animals is one of the serious problems of ensuring food safety. Screening methods for monitoring the presence of antibiotics based on optical processes have the advantage, due to the high measurement speed and sensitivity, they can be effectively implemented in the technology of production and processing of agricultural products, to detect antibiotics, including at their minimum concentration. (Research purpose) The research purpose is evaluating the possibility of determining the contamination of milk with amoxicillin by calculating the statistical parameters of luminescence spectra. (Materials and methods) The statistical parameters of milk luminescence spectra were calculated in the Mathcad software package. (Results and discussion) The dependences of mathematical expectation, variance, asymmetry, kurtosis, luminescence energy on the concentration of antibiotics were constructed. (Conclusions) It was shown that some statistical parameters of luminescence spectra change linearly with an increase in the content of antibiotics in milk. It was determined that to track the amount of amoxicillin in milk, the dependence of the mathematical expectation, luminescence energy on the concentration of the antibiotic at an excitation wavelength of 290 nanometers is most suitable. It has been established that the results of the study can be useful in the development of optical antibiotic monitoring systems that are built not only into milking units, but also as separate alarms or sensors. It was revealed that the results of the study can be applied both in the development of autonomous optical signaling and control systems for antibiotics in milk and dairy products, and in their introduction into milking units.
