MOBILE POWER PLANTS IN ANIMAL HUSBANDRY

One of the most difficult tasks of agriculture is the energy supply of pastures. The centralized supply of electric energy to high-altitude pastures during cattle breeding in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic is currently practically absent. Electricity from distribution grids is used only in certain areas located in the foothill zones, which is a small part of the entire pasture area. Further power supply is limited by high economic costs, seasonal use of grids, dispersion and constant movement of consumers over a large area. (Research purpose) The research purpose is developing a mobile power plant for animal husbandry in the high-altitude areas of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic with the aim of reliable energy supply using renewable energy sources (sun, wind, mountain rivers and streams, biomass). (Materials and methods) Carried out an analysis of solar, wind, water load, as well as manure output volumes in high-altitude areas to justify the use of a mobile power plant. The main energy parameters of the installation were determined. (Results and discussion) It has been shown that the problem of energy supply of technological processes, equipment and household needs of livestock breeders in conditions of high-altitude pastures can currently be solved by using mobile autonomous power plants using renewable energy sources capable of servicing several farms. It has been established that the greatest prospects are for power supply schemes for consumers from autonomous sources using various types of energy (sun, wind, water and biomass). (Conclusions) It was revealed that the widespread use of renewable energy sources in the agricultural production of the mountainous and high-altitude zone of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic will contribute not only to obtaining additional agricultural products and reducing its cost, environmental protection, but also to improving the living conditions of the population. The design of a mobile power plant was proposed.
