Research on the connection between sustainable rural economic growth and the usage of chemicals in rural areas
Abstract With the growing demand for agricultural productivity worldwide, the extensive use of pesticides in rural areas has emerged as a significant strategy for raising crop yields. However, excessive chemical use has resulted in a number of social and environmental issues, including water pollution, soil erosion, and health hazards, all of which have an impact on the long-term viability of rural economies. Through theoretical analysis and field investigation, this work methodically investigates the intricate relationship between the use of chemicals in rural areas and sustainable economic growth. The study’s findings demonstrate that while chemicals increase agricultural productivity temporarily, their prolonged usage weakens the services provided by rural ecosystems, which has a detrimental effect on economic growth.
