METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF FORECASTING DEMAND FOR AUTO PARTS IN CAR MAINTENANCE CENTERS

A comprehensive methodology for forecasting demand for auto parts is proposed, based on the classification of demand; calculation of ADI and CV2; selection of forecasting methods depending on the type of demand; use of additional methods. Research methods include analysis of literary sources; data collection and analysis; classification of demand types; selection of forecasting methods depending on the type of demand. The proposed methodology makes it possible to increase the accuracy of forecasting demand for auto parts, which, in turn, can lead to optimization of inventory management and increase the level of customer service in service stations. The scope of this article includes service station managers, spare parts purchasing managers, da-ta analysts, and scientific research.
