Analysis of the spatial pattern and influencing factors of urban carbon emissions from a dynamic perspective: a case study
The reduction of urban carbon emissions is widely recognised as a pivotal strategy in the fight against climate change. Using panel data from ten cities in Shaanxi Province from 2015 to 2021, the spatial pattern and influencing factors of urban carbon emissions was analysed from a dynamic perspective. The results indicated that urban carbon emissions are currently in an unstable decoupling state, characterised by significant spatial autocorrelation. Furthermore, carbon emissions displayed both temporal lag effects and spatial spillover effects, with various factors having different impacts on emissions within local and neighbouring cities. Finally, several policy recommendations were proposed.
