First experience of varicose vein ulcer closure with MOCA no rotational

Chronic venous insufficiency often leads to varicose vein ulcers, significantly affecting patients’ quality of life. Minimally invasive treatments like mechanochemical ablation (MOCA) using the Flebogrif® device offer a promising alternative. The aim of this article is to evaluate the efficacy of Flebogrif® MOCA in treating patients with varicose vein ulcers. Five patients (four women, one man; ages 30-45) with varicose vein ulcers were treated with Flebogrif® MOCA. Ultrasound assessments and quality of life evaluations were conducted over an 18-month follow-up period. Flebogrif® MOCA successfully treated varicose vein ulcers, improving symptoms and enhancing quality of life with minimal complications.
