Der anonyme Grund. Eine transzendentalphänomenologische Rechtfertigung des Realitätsbegriffs auf der Grundlage der Phänomenologie des Unbewusstseins

The aim of this article is to elucidate the contribution that Husserl’s “Phenomenology of the Unconsciousness” makes to the transcendental philosophical problem of reality. The term “transcendental philosophical problem of reality” is used to describe the challenge of conceptualising a reality that is both immanent in consciousness and yet transcends it. Firstly, an investigation of how the concept of reality is addressed in Husserl’s transcendental phenomenology is presented. Secondly, a particular challenge associated with the problem of reality within Husserl’s approach is identified. Finally, a comprehensive analysis of Husserl’s phenomenology of the unconscious is undertaken, with the aim of reconstructing the transcendental-phenomenological justification of the concept of reality through the exploration of the unconscious.
