Research on mountain search path planning and isochronous circle construction
When criminals flee to complex mountainous areas with no obvious roads or sparse roads, it is crucial to narrow down the search range and plan the search route in the vast complex mountain environment. This article proposes a mountain search path planning method based on GIS. Firstly, in response to the scarcity of mountain roads, limited road network data, and difficulties in path analysis, a virtual road network was constructed using Voronoi diagram; then, based on the uncertainty of the search point location, a fishing net point is created to cover the entire search area; finally, the search isochronous circle is constructed using the OD cost matrix and inverse distance weighting (IDW) method. The results show that in the wild mountainous environment, constructing a virtual road network can effectively conduct path analysis, and the construction of the isochronous circle can timely grasp the search progress of personnel from all directions. This method is suitable for path planning and search research in large-scale 3D mountain scenes, reducing planning time, improving search efficiency, and providing technical support for mountain search operations without road networks.
