Fire monitoring methods in scenic areas combining low-altitude remote sensing and ground detection

Starting from the actual needs of fire monitoring and early warning in outdoor scenic areas and the current situation of terrain and geomorphology in China, and targeting the problems of low monitoring coverage, narrow scope and high cost of accessibility deployment in the fire detection and early warning in complex terrain scenic areas, we propose a method of fire monitoring in complex terrain scenic areas combining low-altitude remote sensing and ground detection. This method can improve the detection coverage of complex terrain scenery, and complete fire monitoring for vegetation covered areas with low fire risk and areas with poor accessibility that are difficult to accomplish with ground monitoring, while reducing the deployment of ground sensors.
