Reduced graphene oxide prepared by microwave thermal reduction for performance improvement of AgNW/ATO-based flexible perovskite solar cells
Carbon-based hole transport layer-free flexible perovskite solar cells are cheap and easy to fabricate but have relatively low efficiency. Recently, graphene-related nanomaterials, including graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO), have attracted great attention as versatile materials for improving the stability and performance of perovskite-based solar cells because of their excellent optical, electrical, and physical properties. In this study, we fabricated flexible perovskite solar cells with the architecture of AgNW/ATO/SnO2/perovskite/rGO/C using rGO synthesized by microwave thermal reduction as the interlayer between perovskite/carbon electrodes. Their power conversion efficiency was as considerable as 12.51%. The device exhibited good long-term stability, maintaining 93.1% of its initial performance after 1080 h of aging under continuous illumination. Furthermore, the flexible devices maintained their performance after hundreds of bending cycles at 6 mm radius of curvature.
