The Phenomenon of Alienation as a Contemporary Problem in Modern Novels Summary The article examines the phenomenon of alienation in modern Azerbaijani novels from social, psychological, and philosophical perspectives. Alienation is described as the detachment of an individual from their family, society, and even their own identity, resulting in a crisis of self and spiritual emptiness. This theme is explored against the backdrop of historical transitions, urbanization, globalization, and the socio-political changes of the post-Soviet era. Using examples from the works of Akshin Yenisei, Elabbas, Elchin Huseynbeyli, and Narmin Kamal, the article analyzes the effects of alienation on individual and societal levels, the degradation of moral values, and the influence of technology and mass culture on human life.
