Zinc oxide-decorated MIL-53(Al)-derived porous carbon for supercapacitor devices

MIL-53(Al)-derived carbon decorated with ZnO was used for supercapacitors. The channel-like morphology, bimodal porosity, and defect-rich C structure lead to energy and power densities up to 30.5 W h kg −1 and 388 kW kg −1 , and coulombic efficiencies >95%.
