Future-Proofing Pediatric Hospital Medicine: Medical Education in Workforce Sustainability
INTRODUCTION. As three pediatric hospital medicine (PHM) fellows nearing graduation and our first attending positions, we read with great interest Fromme and colleagues’ study of the changing PHM workforce.1 We reflected on what drew each of us to PHM and some particularly important barriers and opportunities to bring more trainees to PHM in the upcoming years.
