The Second Congress of the Russian Association of Researchers of the Himalaya and Tibet (St. Petersburg, November 28–29, 2024)

The Second Congress of the Russian Association of Researchers of the Himalaya and Tibet was held at the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg during November 28–29, 2024. The congress included a scientific conference and general meeting with reports and elections. This communication describes preparation for the congress, list of participants and main results. It also includes brief data on reports on the history of travel and exploration, zoology, botany as well as information on published materials of the congress in the book titled “Russian Studies on the Himalaya and Tibet – 2024: Nature and Culture”.
