Variational Formulations for Wave and Heat Conductivity Equations within the Framework of Discrete Potential Theory
The variational formulations for the wave operator and heat conductivity equations within the framework of the discrete potential theory are considered. The grid solutions of finite-difference analogs of equations in partial derivatives make it possible to restore the sources of waves and heat in various media based on inhomogeneous data of different accuracy on the corresponding physical fields. The boundary problems in a 3D-grid with Dirichlet and Neumann conditions are considered.
