SOFTWARE MODULE FOR PROCESSING JOB APPLICANTS’ RESUMES
Relevance In the conditions of the modern labor market, there is a constant increase in the number of job seekers. At the same time, companies are faced with a huge flow of resumes. Manual processing of such a volume of information becomes a difficult task due to limited time and resources. Increasing competition in the labor market forces enterprises to focus on effective recruitment, which includes not only the selection of suitable candidates, but also the fast and high-quality processing of their resumes. Resume processing is often done manually, which requires significant time. This approach can lead to a decrease in quality and an increase in resume processing time. Therefore, there is a need to develop a software module that will process a resume, check the completeness of fields, issue a processing report and create a «candidate card» based on the results. Aim of research The article aims to reduce the processing time of a resume and minimize errors that may occur during manual work. The relevance of the problem of developing a software module for processing applicants' resumes is analyzed. Research methods The following methods were used: a review of the scientific literature, an analysis of the use of existing resume processing methods. Results The necessity of using a software module for processing job applicants' resumes is substantiated. Key aspects of the development's relevance are described, including major issues associated with manual resume processing and the benefits of automation. Using the IDEF0 methodology, an analysis of the business process «Receiving and Analyzing Resumes» was conducted, highlighting the shortcomings that need to be automated. The obtained results can be utilized for designing and implementing software solutions in personnel management, as well as for further exploration and development of approaches to HR process automation.
