ALGORITHM DEVELOPMENT FOR CHECKING THE OPERABILITY OF A HELICOPTER RADAR SYSTEM
Relevance This article discusses the task of simulating radar signals and monitor- ing the operability of the verification system. The task of developing a methodology for radar signals of the simula- tor and the operability of the verification control system is considered. One of the most important tasks in the field of modern radar is to increase the noise immunity of radar stations. This means that radars must effectively withstand both natural and artificial interference, have a low probability of intercepting radiation, maintain electromagnetic compatibility with other radars in the complex, and ensure high accuracy in measuring target parameters. Aim of research The aim of research is to develop an algorithm that will allow check- ing the operability of the radar system on a helicopter. The research objectives are to develop rules for using a simulator that allows you to create signals as close as possible to real echo signals and process them in the real mode of operation of the radio engineering complex. For this, certain operations must be performed to select and set the par- ameters of the simulator. It is also important to develop an algorithm for restoring the high-quality part of the unit, which will allow to find and fix malfunctions in the complex using the integrated automated control system. Results A radar signal simulator is being developed. Using this simulator, it will be possible to test various characteristics of radar stations. In particu- lar, it will be possible to check the quality of signal generation and pro- cessing algorithms, as well as the resolution and accuracy of measuring target parameters. In addition, it will be possible to evaluate the quality of trajectory processing of multiple targets, the noise immunity and energy potential of the radar, and other important parameters.
