3D‐Printed and Recombinant Spider Silk Particle Reinforced Collagen Composite Scaffolds for Soft Tissue Engineering (Adv. Funct. Mater. 15/2025)
Soft Tissue Engineering In article number 2407760, Thomas Scheibel, Kim Sarah Koeck, and Vanessa Tanja Trossmann show that 3D-bioprinting of a collagen ink into a recombinant spider silk precipitation bath and subsequent potassium phosphate post-treatment yields particle-reinforced, fibrillar scaffolds showing suitable degradation behavior, necessary mechanical stability, and enables cell proliferation.
