APPLICATION OF UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES IN THE NORTHERN CARGO DELIVERY SYSTEM

The aim of the article is to study the transport support of the northern delivery and develop proposals for the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in supply chains in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The research methods are analysis of the morphology of the region's transport network, spatial analysis of the logistics centres network and statistical analysis of the volume of delivery goods by category. The results of the research consist in the description of four operating schemes of cargo delivery to the Arctic regions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), determination of their length, operation periods and average number of required cargo transshipments. Taking into account the projected UAVs, a perspective scheme of their incorporation into the system of transport support of northern importation in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) was developed.
