STUDY OF THE FILLERS EFFECT ON THE CHANGE OF PROPERTIES AND STRUCTURE OF FILLED EPOXY COMPOSITES
In order to obtain effective polymer composites and reduce their production costs, various fillers are introduced into the polymer binder, significantly affecting the physical and mechanical properties of composites and their structure. Depending on the degree of filling, type of filler and its specific surface area, the production of aggregate formations in the structure of polymer composites is observed. Aggregate formations are a set of particles separated by layers of polymer in the film state. In this work we analyzed the change of strength parameters of epoxy composites filled with chalk, marshalite and diatomite with different degree of filling (from 20 to 80%). The distribution of microhardness of epoxy polymers filled with chalk at different degrees of filling was investigated. It is confirmed that at achievement of optimum dispersity and degree of filling in the composite the process of formation of clusters characterized by the increased strength indices is observed.
